It's been a busy couple of days since I touched down in Doha. As mentioned, I'm doing some blogging on Tennis.com in addition to my stories for USA Today. I'll also try to post some items on here during the next week, so stay tuned. Today I am headed out on a boat tour of Doha before I head over to the tournament for the first night of action, which features Kuznetsova vs. Zvonareva, Jankovic vs. Ivanovic and Venus Williams vs. Safina. The weather has been really overcast and dusty, and the winds were wicked last night, blowing sand into my eyes. I wonder if this will be a factor this week. I heard that the wind was debilitating at the WTA Tour's regular stop here in February.
